I have a non-traditional background, started my career journey in Architectural Design, but my true passion led me to the world of software engineering.

I completed a software engineering program studying full-stack development at Ada Developers Academy, following with 6-month internship at Indeed where I worked at their Ownership team to manage its internal data.

I'm currently a junior Software Developer with expertise in Python, Java, C# and JavaScript, and a passion for cloud technologies like AWS.

I'm an alumna of Georgia Institute of Technology and University of Tehran, where I honed my skills in problem solving, critical thinking and design.

I love collaborating on innovative projects and have a passion for learning and innovating.

    Software Developer Intern @ Indeed

    August 2022 - Janurary 2023

    Worked as a part of the Ownership team, which is responsible for automating, inferring, and assigning responsible parties for all Indeed internal resources.

  • Added rules to the ownership system and created various detailed tests that helped automatically infer the accountable party for 27.6k resources, increased Ownership coverage from 27% to 100%.
  • Implemented a status-based filtering feature to ownership web application; work includes back-end changes using Java and Spring Boot to expose new parameters in API to support it and front-end changes using React and JavaScript.
  • Built tests, made library changes, and built client-facing APIs using Java.
  • Enhanced a command line interface tool by implementing a feature for searching resources by status using Python.
  • Participated in Agile workflow practices, integrated within a team of 12 engineers, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, and weekly demos.
